A party fit a for Princess. Princess Jules.

Our friends and family truly outdid themselves on our shower this weekend. Every last detail was shimmering in all its "Jewels" glory. There were surprises for me and The Chief at every turn. It was like Christmas morning when we arrived!

As I've mentioned before, I've been known to throw a party or two around here...well, pay backs in this case were far from hell. They were actually way above and beyond. I have a group of besties that made it their mission to see that Julia had a shower that was truly one of a kind. The theme was "Jewels for Jules" and the colors were my fav...bright pink and kelly green with lots of girlie jewel tones thrown in there. Everything was adorbs! Take a looksie!

This was the precious invitation that arrived a few weeks ago. The one and only Jennie Jones created this one-of-a-kind invitation. Can you imagine being this creative and having the patience to sit and handmake each one? Thank you, Jen...such a treasure!

When we drove up, we saw this...brick-oven pizzas were 0n the menu! How fun and different!

Do you spy the adorable kelly green stenciled runner on the table? Miss Angela did those...I LOVE them!

Even personalized cocktail napkins with the sweet-pea's name!
There was some great wisdom written on these diapers!

This was my rocking chair as a baby. My mom asked my super star cousin, Alison, if she would re-do Brian's before Henry was born. She agreed and it turned out precious for his nursery. Click here to see!

Since Alison just had baby #2 and lives in Brazil, this go-round we asked another super star, again, Mrs. Jones! I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. It's just precious! Thank you Mimi for having this done for me and thank you Jen for doing it!

Our moms suprised us with our baby pictures and Heather displayed them on her mantle. Crazy to think we're about to have a little one so small in our home!

My baby announcement...so sweet and girlie.

The flower queen, Kristin, takes all credit for the gorgeous flowers.

Mint Juleps were served in honor of Jules AND because her daddy happens to love Bourbon. How cute!!!

The bar was set for a party! And who else would bartend besides Willie?! He has seen this crowd party a many a time.

Even cocktail stirrers!

Mere taking another pitcher of Mint Juleps to the bar!

"Because I'm Pregnant, That's Why" koozie for the momma!

The hostesses (from top left): Meredith Haynes, Jessica Gates, Moi, Kristin Mannari, Heather Hayward, Angela Blake, Alli Maynard, Jennie Jones, Meredith Brewer. Elizabeth Ellis was a wonderful hostess, but was unable to attend the party. She was missed!

Jessica and Will

The Haywards...thank you for opening your home, yet again, for a wonderful party!

Mere and Eric

Miss Melissa that traveled from Oklahoma to be in attendance! It was so special to have her there. Thanks, Melissa for coming...it meant so much to me.

Alli, Meredith, Jennie
The mom, the aunt and The Chief

Ang, Susie, Melissa

Heather and Jana
The bug got to make a guest appearance for a little while before Mimi and Pops had to take him. If his cousin looks anything like him I think we're in business! Isn't his little Penguin shirt his daddy bought him adorable??!!

Me and Katie...dear friend from highschool that's having a girl 8 weeks behind me! Can't wait for Jules to have a bestie!

Current dad of 2, Jeromy, dad to be, Mason and dad to be, Clinton

Kelsey, Mere and me. Kelsey is married to Jeromy above and was in town from California. I was thrilled they were in town and could come to the shower!

Heather calls Jules "Ladybug"...and Ladybug is marrying Mr. Mason, Heather's 1 year old. We have all the details of the wedding and rehearsal dinner all set. They need not to worry about anything. Just get accepted into the University of Oklahoma and enjoy their courtship!

And the fun starts with opening all the wonderful presents!

Jen, thanks so much for doing such a great job on the rocking chair. It's adorable!

Miss Jana gave Julia these diaper covers. Have you seen something so cute??!! I can hardly wait for her to be big enough to crawl around with her name across her bottom.

Every princess needs a bow holder. Thanks, Kels!

One last snuggle from Uncle Clint and Aunt Lu before going boppy night night.

What a wonderful party to celebrate the arrival of our Julia Grace. Thank you friends and family for making it so special for Clint and me. We can't wait for each of you to meet the little one!
