The Name

The little princess was officially named on Mother's Day. We had several contenders, and I was leaning on the chief to make the final call. He robustly entered the den on Sunday with his cup of coffee in hand and declared he'd like her to be named

JULIA GRACE ENCINIAS

I like it. Actually, I love it. You might wonder why Aleen disappeared. Well, as it turns out my grandmother's name was Grace Aleen. So it still holds the same sentimental value to me AND it appears it's much easier to say and understand. Not to mention, my aunt and God mother is Grace. Win, win.
